Be Decisive
/Observe > Decide > Act. Do not sit idle in judgement.
Observe > Decide > Act. Do not sit idle in judgement.
Judge the day not by the externals, what the wind may bring, but rather by the internals, how have I dealt with the wind that day.
Don’t account for the quantity of the mistakes made, rather, what did I do with the mistakes. What did I take from them and bring forward for tomorrow. What did I do with what I brought forward from the previous day.
That is how to account for the day. Thank fortune for whatever it brings, examine how I reacted and what did I learn, and then take action to apply it. Perfection isn’t the goal, just practice, never ending practice.
What do I desire now? Nothing material. Just time. Something I can control. How ironic.
Beware of charisma. Mine and others, but mostly mine. Love the truth, not the idea, not the story.
Don’t let emotion drive the day. You drive. Take breaks. Sleep awhile. Think about it. Then maybe, decide to act on that emotion. What emotion? If you remember what it was that almost set you off driving down a road that you might not be able to come back from.
