Look Where You Want To Go
/Negative emotions are a sign from the unconscious mind to focus on what you want, rather than what you don’t want. The body follows where the eyes look. Aim at the target, not what you want to avoid.

We filter by what we are looking for. Our confirmation bias seeks to reaffirm what we think we already know. Seek the contrarian view to find the closest proximity to the truth of what something or some circumstance may be. Realize that focus eliminates everything else. What we focus on becomes all we will see. Widen the periphery.
Before building a defense to a challenge the first question to ask of oneself is “how’s that working for me?” If the answer is less than adequate skip the defense and look for answers from the challenger. Before challenging someone else, skip the challenge and ask the question “how’s that working for you?”.
It’s more effective to whisper in someone else’s language than to yell in your own.
Abdication of responsibility is abdication of power to control one's outcome. This is not my fault. I blame you. Satisfying in the sense that you are in the right, have done nothing wrong, and all would have been as it should be if so and so didn’t do that thing. Feels good for the moment but the problem is you and so and so are still pooched and now you have placed all control, all responsibility, with so and so. You have no power to correct your circumstance unless you say “I am responsible. I own this. I will change this. Regardless of so and so.”
