Both can lead to correction. The obvious one works better.
The idle mind looks for problems.
Fixates and gets stuck.
The idle mind has no idea where it is going and what comes next.
If it did, it wouldn’t have the time to fixate, look for problems, and get stuck.
If idle, bingo, you have the time to figure out where to and what’s next.
Idle no more!
To accomplish what you want you have to direct of the means at your disposal to where you want to go.
Your sphere of influence lessens the further you move out from you. The centre.
And by reverse thinking, your sphere of influence is greatest at you, the centre point.
To accomplish what you want focus on you, first. The biggest lever with the most return. Then consider every one and every thing else.
It all starts with you, and surprisingly often ends there.
We will fall down. Don’t judge the fall.
It is how well we pick ourselves up that matters.
