Lost in Translation
/Words get complicated. Semantics are at play. Meanings are lost.
The answer?
Speak less. Make the problem smaller.

Just like entropy - the gradual decline into disorder, there is a drift from the simple to the complex.
We have to constantly fight the slide to the complex, always invest in pairing down, shedding and trashing.
Consider spending 20% of your efforts on removing from what has been done before. Maybe there is an 80/20 pay off here, maybe that 20% is what makes the 80% of what you want to get done, actually get done.
When it matters, tell the truth.
Without adjectives or superlatives.
Tell the truth. No matter how much no wants to hear it.
When it doesn’t matter. SHUT UP.
There is nothing in between, no gray line.
Think then act.
Weigh the proportion of time spent thinking to the weight of the action measured in time, impact and risk.
Probably one to one.
Any less and you might not be adequately prepared.
Any more and you are overthinking, mind screwing yourself, procrastinating, and slowing everything down.
Think
Proportionally
Think the unthinkable. Pre-mortem everything. Expect the worst.
Don’t dwell on it.
But never be surprised by it.
When it hits the fan calmly reach for plan B.
