I Have An Idea
/I have another great idea!
Again.
Give everyone a break. Sleep on it.
If it’s a good idea tomorrow, write it down and consider bringing it up once the current work to implement the previous “good ideas” are done.
I have another great idea!
Again.
Give everyone a break. Sleep on it.
If it’s a good idea tomorrow, write it down and consider bringing it up once the current work to implement the previous “good ideas” are done.
I don’t feel like doing the work.
So what?
Do the work.
You will feel a lot better about it once you’re done.
The day got away from me.
The “day” isn’t running away from us.
The day is ours to use and use well. It might not always go as planned, but, how we deal with and correct whatever the day may throw at us is how we best judge the day.
“I didn’t use the day well. Tomorrow I will do better.”
Is a far more honest assessment and correction than blaming the “day”.
If situations come to the point that you must draw the line.
Then hold that line.
If you fail to follow through and hold whatever caused the line to be drawn to account, then you, not them, are the bigger problem in the room.
Deal with situations that won’t go away. Be clear, no adjectives, no emotions, just the facts. State the followup and define the line.
And hold it. Follow through, for good or bad, follow through.
Do we take or do we give?
Do we multiply what we have, or consume and reduce?
Are we synergistic, or worse - the source of dysergy?
Make the conscious choice as to what role you hold in every situation. Best to always be the source of synergy, to give and multiply, but worse than being the opposite is to be ignorant of what role we hold. To blindly have impact with no idea what that impact, good or bad, is.
Make a choice and hold yourself to account for it.
