Squandering The Day
/Stuff has to be done, but you have been doing “stuff” for days on end. You’re not happy but you get started. You can’t get into it and you kind of half do it, half take a break, and in the end feel completely frustrated and even more tired than when the day began. Nothing was accomplished. No rest and recovery was achieved. No saw was sharpened. And at the same time nothing shipped or it was shipped at great expense. This is squandering the day. Unless a life is on the line, take the day. Do something completely different. Get some exercise. Get outside. RECOVER. Then come back and instead of squandering the next day, you are now ready to save the day!
